Adria Glass enjoys the benefits of the Smartfill-2

27th September 2011

Barnsley based Adria Glass are the latest in a long line of IGU manufacturers benefiting from the Smartfill machinery on offer from Inagas, the industry leaders in the supply of UK manufactured gas filling machinery and testing equipment.

Delighted at the positive impact on production since the installation of the Smartfill-2, Tomi Padovan, the Managing Director of Adria Glass explains:”Adria Glass has been in business since 1989 and throughout that time, has made taking care of our customers and offering them what they need, our number one priority.

“We took the decision to start gas filling approximately 12 years ago and looked to Inagas to provide the best solution for us at the time. Over the years, our longstanding relationship with them has proven that as far as gas filling goes, they have the best solutions on the market - not only with the machinery, but also the ongoing technical support and expertise to go with it. Key to the success of Adria Glass over the years has been investing back into the business and we constantly look for ways in which we can improve processes and upgrade technology. Although investment has slowed of late due to the current economic backdrop, it will never stop completely as we understand that the changing market demands call for the latest technological innovations in order to succeed.

“The Smartfill-2 has enabled us to increase our capacity by over 30% and has further streamlined our production. The touch screen controls and filling directly from the lance, mean the operator has far greater control at his fingertips. Put simply, the Smartfill-2 has made the entire gas filling process quicker and easier, a benefit we can pass on to our customers in terms of quality and service delivery.”
